this post just gave me an idea

i'm going to buy a ferrari key off ebay to show off in posts like this. and it will be fun to have on my keychain. i'll casually leave my keychain on the bar when standing next to a cute chick and ordering a beer.

Gotcha. Just a shot in the dark. There's a big bama fan/ Dub driver we talk to a bit on there. JF has gone down hill in a hurry which is part of the reason why I'm on Oppo so much more. Hope the Jeep treats ya well.

Yeah I have a friend with a piston and rod also. I wanted to get a unfinished or metal one. Sorta hard to find a really high quality one. What if I made a little model engine and hooked one of these up to it? lol. I want to make a model engine though. Any suggestions.

Key for the BMW Z4
Two fobs for the Mini Clubman S
Spare key for the F150 ignition with leather Ford tag
Spares for the bike ignition and saddlebags
Spare set for the F150, ignition, glovebox, and remote
F150 keyset, remote, ignition, glovebox, trailer lock keys, and cable lock keys for things in the bed.

Well, I dunno about free, but I was quoted $240 at the dealership for a new set. I was in high school at the time so they gave me some bullshit about how the fob wouldn't work without a new key, expecting me to be a typical oblivious kid. Needless to say I declined, after I stopped laughing.

The shell of the fob should be replacable. GM fobs usually are a circuit board that is easily removable from the surrounding shell. Ford cant be different. Just buy a used fob on ebay and swap the circuit boards. That way you have one programmed for your car, now in a new case.
